Cimarron man dies in motorcycle, vehicle accident
Finney County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Cimarron man died in a two-vehicle accident on Friday just after 6:30 p.m.
According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2009 Ford F150 driven by 28-year-old Alondra Felix of Garden City was westbound at the 4300 block of U.S. Highway 50, when she attempted to turn south into the trailer park at 4170 East U.S. Highway 50 in front of an eastbound 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 50-year-old Jeff Bogner of Cimarron. Bogner struck the passenger side of the pickup.
Bogner was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, where he was pronounced deceased. Felix was uninjured.
Felix was not wearing a seatbelt, and Bogner was not wearing a helmet, according to KHP report.
