Finney Co Sheriff’s Deputies investigating shooting

Finney County Kan.–Finney County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the shooting of a Garden City man.

Deputies responded to the 3000 block of W. Jones Ave, when they were advised of a shooting that had just occurred on Monday evening, around 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, Deputies found a 44-year-old Garden City man in his home suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was provided care, transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the shooter shot through the front door of the residence, striking the victim.
