Garden City man dies in motorcycle accident
Finney County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Garden City man died Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night in Finney County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2012 Harley Davidson Electra driven by 44-year-old James G. Huband of Garden City was southbound in the southbound lane of South Holcomb Lane at West Crist Road, four miles south of West River Road, when he crossed the center line in the northbound lane of travel at a curve, traveled off the roadway tot he left into the ditch. Huband lost control and crashed in a field east of South Holcomb Lane.
Huband was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, where he was pronounced deceased.
According to the KHP report, he was not wearing a helmet.
