Liberal man dies in early Sunday morning accident
Seward County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Liberal man died in a rollover accident just after 3 a.m. Sunday in Seward County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1999 Ford F150 driven by 25-year-old Mrio Visoso-Garcia of Liberal was northbound on U.S. Highway 83, about one mile north of the U.S. Highway 54 junction, when he ramped the east curb, entered a side skid and rolled an unknown number of times, before coming to rest facing south.
Visoso-Garcia and passenger 22-year-old Elijio Beltran, also of Liberal, were transported to Southwest Medical Center. Beltran died of his injuries.
The KHP report indicates that Visoso-Garcia and Beltran were not wearing seatbelts.
