Local listening guide: where to find GCHS and GCCC basketball broadcasts

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (Western Kansas News) – The Garden City High School Boys’ Basketball team battles Wichita Heights Saturday for the right to go to the KSHSAA 6A State Tournament. Garden City Community College also has two games scheduled for the afternoon, with the GCCC women hosting Cowley County at Conestoga Arena and the men on the road at Cloud County in the first round of the Region VI tournament.

Garden City Community College women’s basketball (#8) versus Cowley County Community College (#9) will be available on 99.9 The Rock (KWKR) with pregame beginning at 1:40p and tipoff at 2p. Rylan Anderson will be on the call for both the radio and visual stream coverage from the Southwest Kansas Sports Network.

Garden City High School (#10) will be playing their sub-state championship game against Wichita Heights (#2). Pregame coverage begins at 4:40p with tipoff at 5p on 99.9 The Rock (KWKR). “The Voice of the Buffs,” Kolby Van Camp, will be on the call.

Garden City Community College men (#9) have been moved to Mix 94.5 (KSKL) for their game at Cloud County Community College (#8). Scott City sports director Adam Kadavy is on the call, with pregame starting at 1:40p and tipoff at 2p from Concordia.
