Scott City girls golf with several newcomers

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–While there are seven out for golf for the Scott City girls golf team, the experience is minimal.

Just one returning golfer from the 2024 season makes up of this years squad. While the team is mostly new, they have improved after the first week. Three of the seven golfers are seniors. The lone returner is junior Rebekah Walter.

Dakota Hayes returns as the head golf coach, as their season will be packed in to a short window from September into early October.

The season starts at Goodland on September 8, which is one of the 18-hole courses on the scheudule this year.
