Scott City Police police asking for help in identifying vehicle and individuals in recent case

Scott City, Kan.–The Scott City Police department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the vechicle and individual(s) invovled in a recent incident

Just after midnight on October 25, officers responded to the 200 block of West 9th Street in reference to a report of two suspicious individuals, followed shortly by a report of an unknown injury traffic collision.

During the investigation, officers learned that two individuals were observed in the backyard of the residence, jumping a fence. A short time later, a white pickup truck was seen crashing into a brick wall, causing significant property damage, before fleeing the scene.

The Scott City Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying those involved.
