Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Peyton Bergner had his options for competing collegiately, whether it was football or track. Bergner went with his gut instinct and chose track, as he made it official on Wednesday by signing his letter of intent to run at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.

Bergner has been a big part of the Scott City track & field program over his high school career. As a junior, Bergner finished fifth in the 400M Dash, while being a part of three state-placing relay teams in the 4×100, 4×800, as well as the state meet record breaking 4x400M Relay in Class 3A. As a sophomore, he was a part of three relays that placed in the top eight of Class 4A.

He chose becoming a Bulldog over UNK. While at Concordia, Bergner plans on majoring in excercise science.
