Seventy-Three K-State Student-Athletes Earn Spring Academic All-Big 12 Honors

MANHATTAN, Kan. (Kansas State Athletics) – With nine honorees nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Kansas State spring student-athletes in the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s golf, rowing, tennis and men’s and women’s track and field combined for 73 Academic All-Big 12 honors, as the conference office announced its spring accolades.
Those that were nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA include men’s golfer Kobe Valociek; rowers Anna Guhr, Grace Hall and Madison Koller; tennis player Veronika Kulhava; men’s track and field athletes Devin Chappel and Emil Uhlin; as well as women’s track and field athletes Jourdin Edwards and Cecilia Fisher.
The full 2025 Spring Academic All-Big 12 Team featured 1,306 student-athletes. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher either cumulative or over the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20% of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
