Rockies snap losing streak in Philadelphia

Philadelphia (westernkansasnews.com)–The Colorado Rockies snapped their four-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies Thursday night. Chris Nelson and Wilin Rosario hit two-run home runs each for the Rockies. Josh Roenicke pitched an inning and a third to pick up his second win of the season. Jeff Francis gave up a run in five innings of work and Rafael Betancourt earned the save for Colorado. The Rockies begin a weekend series tonight at Texas. Christrian Friedrich gets the start for Colorado, while Roy Oswalt makes his debut with the Rangers in a 7:05 first pitch at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
