Rockies rally for win over Marlins

Denver, Col. (westernkansasnews.com)–Josh Rutledge hit a pinch-hit triple, scoring Carlos Gonzalez in the seventh inning, as the Colorado Rockies rally for a 5-3 win over the Miami Marlins Thursday night. The Rockies were able to tie the game in the sixth, on a two-run homerun by Michael Cuddyer. Eric Young, Jr.’s fielder’s choice hit scored Rutledge in the seventh added an insurance run for Colorado, who has now won four straight. Adam Ottavino picked up the win, as he gave up a run in three innings pitched. Rafael Betancourt recorded his 22nd save of the season. The same two teams will face each other tonight, as Jeff Francis will start for the Rockies, while Wade LeBlanc takes the mound for Miami in a 7:40 central time start at Coors Field.
