Ulysses, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Ulysses Lady Tigers were able to take down the Scott City Beavers Thursday night in a matchup of GWAC teams. Scott City took the first set 25-23 in a match that went best three out of five sets. The Lady Tigers were able to win the next three sets 26-24, 25-17, and 25-20, as the Lady Beavers dropped their first match of the season, and now stand at 2-1. In earlier action, the Scott City Freshman team defeated Ulysses in two sets, while the Lady Tiger Junior Varsity team won in three sets over the Lady Beavers.
