Wichita, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – It was another tough loss in the Regional semi-finals for the Garden City Baseball team on Tuesday afternoon at the West Urban Baseball Complex in Wichita, as the Buffaloes fell to the Wichita East Aces 9-3 to end their season. It was the same song, same dance for the Buffaloes with their inconsistent play, including trouble on the mound for senior Edgar Montoya taking the loss and some lackluster defensive plays for Garden City. The Buffaloes were out hit 12 to 7 by the Blue Aces and Garden City committed 3 errors. The Buffaloes ended their 2013 campaign at 5-16 and must rebuild for next season, as they lose a number of quality senior players from this team. Coach Bill Wilson comments in the post game about the Buffs performance and the year.
