US Attorney: Man, Woman Admit to Charge of Child Pornography

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)US Attorney Barry Grissom announces a man and a woman both from Dodge City have pleaded guilty to child pornography charges in two separate cases. A 25 year old woman has pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography in making a video on a smartphone of herself engaged in a sex act with a child under five year old.

Ashley Kelly then posted the video to her google drive account. Both sides have agreed to a recommended prison term of 25 years.

36 year old Joel McClure has pleaded guilty to transporting child pornography across state lines. In his plea, McClure admitted in May and August 2015 he used his laptop computer to download and shared child pornography with other users via a file sharing network. Evidence was discovered after a search of McClure’s home and computer.

Sentencing for each person is set for June 1.
