Sonny graduated from Garden City High School and Garden City Community College. When he was 17 he started working at Stoner’s # 1 at Five Points and for the next 21 years worked at the store and becoming the Manager as it became a Dart-In and later Presto. He then worked as a Salesman at Coast To Coast and after retiring worked as a Courier. He enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing and his flower garden and fruit trees. He was preceded in death by his Parents, infant son- Clayton Lynn, 1 Sister- Marvalene Carroll & 3 Brothers- Buddy, Curtis & Cleo.
