Edna Fay Reeves

Edna Fay Reeves, 76, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Homestead Health and Rehabilitation Center, Garden City. 

She was born January 5, 1940 at Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of John Andrew and Edna Fay (Paget) Troyer. A Garden City resident since 1965, she was a housekeeper and greeter at Wal-Mart. 

In 1957 she married Robert L. Reeves. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2004. 

Survivors include: 3 children, Donald Reeves, Garden City, Betty June Bryan, Granby, Missouri and Duane Reeves, Garden City; 2 sisters, Phyllis Doyle, Diamond, Missouri and Beverley LaRue, Kansas; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe LaRue. 

Memorial services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Homestead Health and Rehabilitation Center. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. 

The family suggests memorials to the Edna Reeves Memorial Fund in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
