Alice R. Summers, age 102, passed away at the Wichita County Long Term Care
Center in Leoti, Kansas on Monday, September 9, 2013.  She was born on March 28,
1911 in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of Roy Ellsworth and Helen Graham
Elder.  A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1972 moving from Kearny County, Kansas,
she was a farmer, rancher and homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pitch Club and Neighborly
Neighbors EHU all of Leoti, Kansas.

On March 27, 1929 she married Henry David Summers in Wichita County, Kansas.  He
passed away on December 13, 1999 in Leoti, Kansas.

Survivors include:
Four Sons Roy Summers of Advance, North Carolina
Four Daughters Helen Ridder of Leoti, Kansas
Donald Summers of Lakin, Kansas
Merle Summers of Blackwell, Oklahoma
Howard “Dude” Summers of Cimarron, Kansas
Delora Stites of Midlothian, Virginia
Bessie Brown of Salt Lake City, Utah
Barbara Heili of Garden City, Kansas
One Sister Neva Duncan of Leoti, Kansas
Thirty Five Grandchildren
Sixty Seven Great Grandchildren
Twenty Six Great Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Daughter – Dorothy Harbin,
Six Brothers and Four Sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at United

Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Rev. Brad Kirk presiding.

Interment will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church or Wichita
County Long Term Care Center % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00
p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home 4th & J Street, Leoti, Kansas.
