It’s back to the links for the SCHS Girls Golf team

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–For the first time since 2008, Scott City has a girls golf program. After picking up enough interest last spring, the Lady Beavers will be competing, albeit with a light schedule for the 2015 season. Seven golfers will hit the links this year under new coach Rebecca Downing.

With only six regular season varsity and junior varsity meets scheduled, the program will have the opportunity to grow. In the first couple weeks, the players have seen some improvement and confidence in their game, with a few of them never playing golf until this year.
