Numbers high for the 2015 SCHS Lady Beaver Tennis squad

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–One thing is for sure that girls tennis at Scott City does not have a shortage of players. Under fifth year coach Cheryl Kucharik, the Lady Beaver tennis team has around 26 players out for tennis this year. Not only does that mean space is limited at practice, it also means competition for only six varsity spots will be high.

Despite not qualifying anyone for the Class 321A State meet in 2014, this year’s squad may have the most experience returning in a while, with players coming close to making it to state last year.
