Dale A. Delay, age 81, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on November 25, 1934 in Lewis, Kansas, the son of Floyd and Faye Bell Delay.  A lifetime resident of Lewis, Kansas, he was an assistant manager for Lewis Coop and a Machinist & Programer for Cross Manufacturing in Lewis, Kansas.  

He was a member of the Lewis Christian Church in Lewis, Kansas and a US Army Veteran serving in France as a Teletype Operator.

On October 13, 1956 he married Helen Bernatzki.  She survives.

Robert & Norma Delay of Lewis, Kansas

Two Sisters Shirley Strassburg of Lewis, Kansas

Sheryl & Carl Fankhauser of Lewis, Kansas

Eight Grandchildren

Two Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother In Law and One Sister In Law.
