Secretary of State Explains: What is a Presidential Caucus?

(westernkansasnews.com) It can be a new experience, but in breaking it down into simple terms Kansas is two months away from selecting candidates to the Republican or Democratic Party conventions. Here they do this through what is known as a caucus. Secretary of State Kris Kobach has details on this process.

Kobach says it is an open process.

Kobach highlights something you need to know before participating.

There is also a matter of being registered with the party ahead of time which Republicans require and if there are any other questions including where to go?

This year’s Kansas presidential caucus is Saturday, March 5th.
