All-GWAC Basketball teams announced

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–With the winter sports season in the books, the Great West Activities Conference has released their all-league teams for both boys and girls basketball. 

Three GWAC Teams participated in their respective state tournaments last week. The Hugoton boys finished second in Class 4A, Division II, while the Hugoton girls placed third in Class 4A, Division II. Scott City’s boys were knocked off in the Class 3A state tournament opener last Wednesday.

As for the All-League Basketball teams, Goodland and Hugoton had four selections on the girls side, while Holcomb had three selections, Scott City and Ulysses finished each with two, and Colby had one. On the boys side, Holcomb had five overall selections, Hugoton and Scott City had four, Goodland had three selections, while Colby and Ulysses had two.
