Two Injury Accidents in SW Kansas This Weekend

Leoti, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A 20 year old man struck a bicyclist from Germany on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 on K96, two miles east of Leoti.  The driver of the Chevy Silverado was uninjured in the wreck.  The bicylist has been identified as 29 year old Tobias Funke.  The victim was taken to the hospital in Leoti for his injuries.

Another driver was injured Friday night around 9:30 on US 83, 13 miles north of Liberal when he tried to overcorrect his Mercedes-Benz and rolled over 3 1/2 times into a ditch.  33 year old Ryan Hamilton of Austin, Texas was taken to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal for his injuries.
