Car Show Highlights Saturday Fundraiser For Kansas Honor Flight

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Kansas Honor Flight has helped WWII veterans see their memorial in Washington D.C. free of charge. In recent years the program has been expanded to Korean and Vietnam vets. Saturday the Kansas Honor Flight will have its 7th fundraiser will be held for Honor Flight at the Finney County Exhibition Building. Cory King with Kansas Kruisers is in charge of the car show that will be part of the festivities.


The event is organized by the K-State Research and Extension Office along with Finney County 4H. Free will donation is $5.  They will also have a chili feed, silent auction and baked goods. The event will lasts from 11-3.


Organizers of the event say they raised a little more than $2,000 and wanted to extend a big thanks for all who attended.
