Gov. Candidate Dr. Jim Barnett visits SW Kansas

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Jim Barnett made several stops in SW Kansas Friday and Saturday while touring the state on his campaign. Barnett has served in the state senate and has been a physician for 35 years. He believes the next governor needs to have a passion for health care.

Barnett also discussed the state’s education problems and how they are affecting the work force.
