School Bond passes in Scott County, election results

Scott City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The $25 million school bond to fund improvements at the elementary and middle school, and would fund a new gym and improvements to the football complex as well as improvements to the high school and district offices was passed by a close vote of 745-710 on Tuesday. The bond has unofficially passed, but won’t be official until they canvas next week.

Everett M. Green was elected as the Scott City Mayor. Dan Weides was elected Treasurer.
