New Finney County Clerk selected

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Finney County Republican Party has elected a new deputy county clerk. Dori Munyan will take over as county clerk on January 9 when Anita Garcia resigns.

According to the Garden City Telegram 28 of the 48 elected precinct committee members appointed Munyan after she was nominated by County Commission Chair Lon Pishny.

Munay began working for the county in July when she was brought in to replace County Clerk Elsa Ulrich, who retired on December 22. The governor still hast to finalize the selection of Munyan within seven days for it to become official.
