Kobach leads Colyer by double digits in new Republican Primary poll
TOPEKA (March 21, 2018) – Kris Kobach’s campaign for Governor today release the results of a new campaign poll showing Secretary Kobach maintaining a double-digit lead over Governor Colyer.
The poll was conducted by JMC Analytics & Polling during March 15 – 17, 2018, of 500 likely Republican Primary voters. The survey has a margin of error of +/- 4.4%
The following ballot test question was asked of all respondents who indicated they were likely to participate in the August 7, 2018, Republican primary.
If the Republican Primary for Governor were held today would you vote for Jeff Colyer, Kris Kobach, Ken Selzer or Jim Barnett?
Kris Kobach – 31%
Jeff Colyer – 18%
Jim Barnett – 10%
Ken Selzer – 4%
Undecided – 36%
On Wednesday Kobach also named Wichita businessman Wink Hartman as his running mate. Hartman ended his campaign for Governor in February. Kobach will visit Garden City on Thursday at Stevens Park at 4 p.m.
