Garden City Coaches Show | Boys and Girls Basketball Weekend Recap

Garden City, KS (WesternKansasasNews.com) – The Garden City Coaches show was live from Mama’s Bar and Grill. On this edition, Garden City boys and girls basketball joined the show.

First up it was the boys with head coach Jeff Williamson and senior guard Jace Steinmetz. We talked with them about their 3-0 start to the season and their championship win in the Cougar Tip-off Classic in Colorado. Steinmetz had a great weekend with 3 games in double figures with scoring totals of 29, 25, and 11 points.

In the second segment of the show, we talked to new girls’ basketball coach Jacob Miller and senior Aileen Becerril about their 2-1 weekend in Colorado. We look ahead to the Roundball Classic and the Lady Buffs’ new identity under Coach Miller.
