Garden City Community College Coaches Show Jan. 12th | GCCC Men’s Basketball and GCCC Track and Field

Garden City, KS (WesternKansasNews.com) – Thursday night at Flat Mountain Brewhouse we got an opportunity talk with two teams from Garden City Athletics. The Show started with freshman guard Boston Harker and Associate Head Coach Bobby Naubert. We talked about the Broncobuster’s season, the current state of the NBA as well what it was like for Boston growing up and playing basketball in Canada. 

Then in the 2nd half of the show we were joined by distance runner Sara Chapa and sprinter/long jumper Andre Dafney. We got a chance to look at the start of their indoor season, and what it’s like preparing for two different seasons during one semester. We also talked to their assistant coach Indira Colon about the season and the importance of strength and conditioning in season vs. out of season for an athlete.
