Scott City had an outside chance to host a first round game, while Goodland was looking to get the second seed. A win by the Beavers would’ve also tied them for third place with the Cowboys in the league standings. Scott City (9-11, 2-4) went without a field goal for nine minutes and had a scoring drought of under six minutes. Goodland used a 17-2 run during the time frame.
