Great West Activities Conference announces All-League football team

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Great West Activities Conference has released their selections for their all-league teams.

Scott City would have the most selections with 14 total selections, with eight being picked for the first team, while Holcomb had 13 selections, as they had six on the first team. Hugoton had seven total selections, with five of those on the first team. Cimarron and Goodland had four selections and Ulysses had three.

Once again this year, there was no GWAC team championship. Scott City went 5-0 against league schools, while Holcomb was 5-1 against the league, and Hugoton went 4-2. Both Scott City and Holcomb made it to the second round of the playoffs, as the Beavers lost to Andale, and the Longhorns fell to Cheney.
