Scott City tennis wins home invitational

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City Invitational tennis meet took place Thursday afternoon with an eight-team tournament on one of the nicest days to date this spring. Scott City would once again take the top, as they held off Meade for the team title, while Garden City was third.

Top performers from the area saw Scott City win the No. 2 Singles and No. 2 Doubles, as Ayden Presson took the No. 2 Singles title, while Kade Bonville/Dante Franco were the champions of No. 2 Doubles. Winning No. 1 Doubles were Meade’s duo of Orvin Dyck/Samuel Lynn.
