Gas Prices Tick Up Heading into Holiday Weekend
Washington, D.C.–Drivers may notice gas prices ticking up slightly ahead of the holiday weekend. The national average for a gallon of regular is up a couple of cents from last week to $2.94. Current prices remain below what they were this time last year when the national average was $3.14.
The national average per kilowatt hour of electricity at a public EV charging station stayed the same this past week at 38 cents.
