KDOT announces approved March bids

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place March 18, 2026, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Southwest Kansas bids include:
Statewide ‑ 106 KA‑7642‑01 – Routes: K‑156 and U.S. 283 in Hodgeman, Ness, Pawnee, Ford and Finney counties, signing, Sign-Up LTD DBA Haren’s Trees and Critters, Webster City, Iowa, $225,753.93.

The following project was approved at the Feb. 18, 2026, letting.

Kearny ‑ 25‑47 KA‑6910‑01 – In Lakin: K-25 pavement restoration from Santa Fe Avenue to Washington Avenue, grading and surfacing, 0.3 mile, Vogts-Parga Construction LLC, Moundridge, Kansas, $1,719,728.97.
