Small second of Fairway Drive in Dodge City to be closed
Dodge City, Kan.–The City of Dodge City has announced that a portion of Fairway Drive will be closed for a construction project.
Beginning Monday, May 4, a small section of Fairway Drive just prior to Comanche Street will be closed, as shown on the map below. The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks to accommodate the Gunsmoke Trail construction project. During this time, southbound traffic on Fairway Drive will not be able to access Comanche Street. Mail delivery and trash service will continue on their regular schedules. Thank you for your patience as this project helps provide a quality walking trail for the community to enjoy.
When maneuvering through construction areas, please be alert for construction equipment, loose or shifting soil, freshly placed concrete, freshly placed tar sealant, etc. Generally speaking, please be aware of your surroundings while passing through these construction areas. We ask that you abide by all traffic control for your safety and the safety of others.
If you see an unsafe condition or other issue that warrants our attention, please contact Building Solutions by calling (620)225-1199.
