Area athletes to compete in 8-Man All-Star games on Saturday
Several area athletes will put on the football pads one final time on Saturday for the 41st Annual 8-Man All-Star games at Trojan Field in Beloit.
The Division I game will start things off at 10 am, as Kinsley’s Gerardo Seanez, Ashton Harjo from Meade, Asa Briscoe from South Gray, Jonathan Froese from Sublette, and Wichita County’s Dylan Luna & Cashton Young will compete on the West team. Wichita County Coach Brant Douglas will serve as an assistant coach.
At 1:30 pm, it will be the Divsion II game. Players from the area on the West team include Carson Goebel, Devin Shank & Desomond Thomas from Hodgeman County, and Minneola’s Tyson Klotz & Levi Lang.
