Garden City High School Choir Selected To Perform At KMEA In-service

The Garden City High School Music Department received word that the Garden City High School Chorale was selected to perform during the 2026 Kansas Music Educators Association in-service weekend. The choir will spend the year preparing a program of music to perform in February 2026 at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas.

The Garden City High School Chorale is the only choir to be chosen from southwest Kansas to perform at the association’s in-service.

Students for the Chorale are selected by the top auditioned Mixed choir, which is comprised of sophomore-senior students. 

The Kansas Music Educators Association supports music educators by fostering leadership, providing professional development, and promoting the advocacy of music learning in schools and communities.
