Goodland wins Ulysses Golf Invitational
Ulysses, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–As teams hit the midway mark of the season, Monday’s Ulysses Invitational at Bentwood Golf Course would be a day where the golfers would have to fight the wind and warm temperatures.
Goodland would win the team title, while Colby was second and Lakin placed third. Individually, Colby’s Kaleb Dixon was the tournament champion with a score of 78, six over par. Hugoton’s Lane Stand was the runner-up, also with a score of 78, while Holcomb’s Luke Thyne was fourth and Saven Rosales of Ulysses was fifth.
