No. 7 Buffaloes Cruise to 14 point Victory Over Ulysses-Audio
Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – The No.7 Garden City Buffalo boys Basketball team used their strong defensive pressure and a 15-2 run in the 2nd quarter to carry them to their 55-41 victory over the Ulysses Tigers last night on the road. The Buffaloes were led by a trio of players in double figures, with senior Austin Terpstra dropping in 19, junior Hunter Delgado poured in 13 and senior Bo Banner added 10. The win over the Tigers pushed the Buffs record out 10-4, with two more non-league match-ups with Holcomb and Guymon, Oklahoma plus the complete 2nd round of Western Athletic Conference play. Coach Jacy Holloway comments in the post game show, how his teams defensive pressure and especially the 1-3-1 zone defense helped Buffs stifle the Tigers.
