MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) – Tommy Tuberville and Texas Tech sure took a lot of the head-scratching out of trying to slow down No. 17 West Virginia. Just in time for fourth-ranked Kansas State, too.T he Wildcats head to Morgantown on Saturday with a pretty good blueprint for success. The difficulty is in trying to follow it. Coach Bill Snyder said Tuesday that the Red Raiders’ passing game was a big reason for their success against the Mountaineers. Kansas State doesn’t have anyone who can sling it all over the field, but they still should be able to glean something from the way Texas Tech prepared. In the end, though, Snyder said the outcome will be determined by who best executes the game plan, whatever it might look like.
