Avoid Being A Victim of Human Trafficking

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) “Human Trafficking” is a growing crime in Kansas.  Deputy Director of the State Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Unit Jennifer Rapp made a presentation yesterday in Garden City. Her goal is to make people aware of the dangers associated with trafficking.

The internet can also be a dangerous place where perpetrators and victims meet.

Some people might wonder why victims do not report it.  Rapp knows it is not easy.

Since victims are not likely to talk, workers in hospitals and healthcare clinics need to know the warning signs of trafficking.
