Increased Awareness of Human Trafficking is Saving Lives
Manhattan, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Law enforcement officers from across the state were in Manhattan on Tuesday for a conference on human trafficking. One of the speakers was acting US attorney Tom Beall.
For victims of either labor or sex trafficking a concerted effort has been made to help those affected by this type of crime.
Beall believes communication among agencies and the public can put the brakes on this type of crime.
