Frankie Alvarez nabs honorable mention all american honors
Garden City, KS-Some things come naturally to some. For Frankie Alvarez, hitting a baseball is like riding a bike.
On Monday, the former Broncbuster catcher was named an honorable mention All American by the National Junior College Athletics Association.
The sophomore hit a team best .371, while clubbing 11 home runs and driving in 38 this past season. His best moment came in a weekend series against Dodge City where he belted four home runs in two days.
Alvarez has already signed to play at Arkansas State.
