Initial Predictions Are For Fewer Severe Storms This Spring

Dodge City, KS ( While the weather models are making their predictions a few months out for how much severe weather Southwest Kansas can expect this spring, for now the hope is we will have a relative calm time period.



National Weather Service Meteorlogist Larry Ruthi knows the perception can change quickly.

As for moisture, there is a mix bag of what we could see.

Ruthi is worried all the gains from a wetter spring could be negated by the summertime weather patterns.
