Governor Colyer visits Garden City
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Kansas new Governor Jeff Colyer has been making the rounds since he moved into the position and Saturday he visited Garden City. Colyer stopped at Traditions Soda & Sandwich shop, where he spoke with area legislators and patrons.
The Governor also made time to speak with the local media. He touched on several issues including moving from Lt. Governor to Governor, the importance of agriculture for Kansas, working with small communities and wanting the state government to be more transparent.
