K-96 resurfacing project begins in Scott and Wichita counties
Crews will begin a resurfacing project on K-96 from the east city limit of Leoti continuing east to the four-lane concrete in Scott City on Tuesday, May 1.
K-96 will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during working hours with an approximate delay of 15 minutes during the project. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
