Scott City’s Felker signs with Sterling

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Over the past four years of Scott City Lady Beaver Basketball, there has been one consistent. Erika Felker was in every game over the past four seasons for the Lady Beaver program that saw her start all 86 games of her career.

On Thursday, Felker made it official and signed her letter of intent to play basketball at Sterling College.

Felker started in all 22 games this year, averaging 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists on a team that went 11-11 on the year. Her high point mark came her junior season, where she averaged 13.3 points per contest.

Ironically, Felker has had experience playing on Sterling’s home court, as Scott City has played at the Sterling Invitational over the past four seasons. She chose the Warriors over Bethany and Tabor.

Her major is elementary education.
