GARDEN CITY, Kan. – Spring sports are in full swing for the Garden City Buffaloes.

Buff Talk returned live from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Monday night. Attention was all on the diamond, bringing on guests from baseball and softball.

Buffaloes baseball head coach, Anthony Ortiz, led off the show. Ortiz discussed his journey through playing baseball growing up in Western Kansas, to growing as GCHS’ new head coach.

Buffaloes’ outfielder Emilio Zundt was next on deck. Zundt talked about his big day at the Western Kansas All-Star Game on Sunday, which came right after an important 3-RBI game against Junction City for the Buffs.

Middle infield duo Chase McGraw and Ethan Gomez followed up, joining to discuss their different experiences of high school athletics.

Softball coach Trina Mai cleaned up the show, discussing her relationships with pitchers and the current state of her team.
