Lakin wins Ulysses golf Invitational

Ulysses, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Monday saw several area schools make their way to Bentwood Golf Course for the Ulysses Golf Invitational. On a windy day, Lakin would take the team title by nearly 30 shots.

The Broncs shot a 348, while Colby was second with a team score of 377 and Scott City was third with a round of 388. Scott City’s Jackson Rumford was the tournament champion, with an 18-hole score of 78, followed by Lakin’s Noah Garcia and Kevin Tanner, who tied for second with a round of 80.
